Now tell ZoneEdit.com that your registrar, GoDaddy.com, points to the ZoneEdit.com nameservers.
Go into your ZoneEdit.com account and click on the IP Addresses section. Add the IP address information for your new site.
Get your IP address by going to http://myipaddress.com. Click on Add New IP Address.
You will be asked to Confirm that you would like to change your IP address. It is recommended that you click the first Yes which associates the same IP Address with both www.yousite.com and yoursite.com.
Click Yes.
Now if you open a web browser and type www.yoursite.com you should see something besides the parked GoDaddy.com information.I see a server error.
Which is a good thing!This means that the domain nameservers were switched but have not been picked up yet by the system. You may need to wait a couple hours for the changes to propagate the web.
If your IP Address changes a lot, it would be annoying to have to keep telling the ZoneEdit.com of the changes. ZoneEdit.com has solved this problem by allowing you to download a piece of software to your computer that will automatically inform ZoneEdit.com when your IP Address changes.
To run the ZoneEdit.com tool, enter your ZoneEdit.com username and password and type in your IP Address Host changes. Then click on OK.
